Founded in 2006, the Estrella Mountain Car Club was created to celebrate and preserve the culture of collector and specialty cars for future generations. Just as important, our mission has always included giving back to the community. We’ve been fortunate to raise tens of thousands of dollars to support local students through programs at Western Maricopa Education Center and Estrella Foothills High School.
Estrella Mountain Car Club Foundation is a tax exempt, Non-Profit Organization (501 C-3), your payment is tax deductible as allowed by law.
The Estrella Mountain Car Club (EMCC) is proud to once again present a donation to the Estrella Foothills High School Interact Club. Under the leadership of Susan Schmeltzer and with the support of the Buckeye School District, the Interact Club continues to provide outstanding mentorship and growth opportunities for young adults. Their commitment to service and leadership closely aligns with EMCC’s own values.
In attendance at the presentation were Superintendent Dr. Chad Lanese, Assistant Director Dr. Araceli Montoya, Chief Officer CJ Beckstrom, Laura Elizondo, Board President Brian Turner, Maggie Lara Clark, Nathan Madden, Dave Sousa, Brandon Shelton, Marylou Martinez, and Estrella Foothills High School Principal Nicki Gonzales.
We are honored to support these future leaders and look forward to the continued positive impact they bring to our community.
Sincerely,
W.M. Owen
President
Dear Bill and Jim,
I want to express my sincere gratitude for the Estrella Mountain Car Club’s incredibly generous donation to the Estrella Foothills High School Interact Club at the recent School District Board meeting. Your support helps us build on our foundation of service, enabling us to expand our projects and increase the number of people we can assist. It also empowers us to continue growing our membership as students recognize the impact we’re making and want to be part of it.
Our efforts begin right here in Estrella Mountain Ranch and extend to local, national, and global communities. Your support plays a crucial role in making all of this possible.
I regret not being able to attend the meeting in person, as I was in Kenya as the Advisor for this year’s Interact District 5495 Ambassador Program. However, I was thrilled that Shy Schroder was able to accept your generous donation on behalf of the Interact Club. Shy, who is joining me as Co-Advisor this year, brings enthusiasm and insights that will help our Club continue to grow. I was also pleased that three of our officers could attend the meeting: Shyanne Blair (President), Kiran Egipciaco (Social Media Officer), and Liz Ouzts (Junior Class Representative).
Attached, you will find an overview of our activities from this past year. Please feel free to share it with your Club members, and know that your support is what makes these achievements possible.
As always, we’re happy to support your Club in any way we can. Once the date for your car show is confirmed, let us know—we would love to volunteer!
Thank you again for your kindness and generosity.
Best Regards, Susan Schmelzer
