WELCOME TO THE ESTRELLA MOUNTAIN CAR CLUB
The Best Little Car Club in America.
2026 ZCon Gold Medallion Award Winner
Congratulations to Janet Fujimoto and Duane Tomono on an Extraordinary Achievement!
The Estrella Mountain Car Club is proud to recognize club members Janet Fujimoto and her husband, Duane Tomono, for an incredible accomplishment at 2026 ZCon!
Their beautifully restored 1970 Datsun 240Z earned the prestigious Holy Grail Gold Medallion Award, one of the most difficult and highly coveted honors in the Z-car community.
Only seven cars have achieved this remarkable distinction in the past 40 years!
What makes this achievement especially impressive is that Duane personally performed all the restoration work in his own garage! His dedication to preserving the car's originality, authenticity, and attention to the smallest details demonstrates an extraordinary level of craftsmanship.
This wasn't the work of a professional restoration shop. It was a labor of love, accomplished at home by a passionate and talented automotive enthusiast.
The stock 240Z category is among the most demanding in ZCon judging, making this recognition all the more remarkable.
Janet and Duane are hoping to bring their award-winning 240Z to this Saturday's car show, giving fellow enthusiasts a rare opportunity to see this exceptional automobile in person.
Please join us in congratulating Janet and Duane on this outstanding achievement! Their passion, dedication, and craftsmanship represent the very best of the collector car hobby.
We're proud to have them as members of the Estrella Mountain Car Club!
