What a fantastic day we had today at the picnic.  The weather could not have been more perfect for us to spend the day outside getting to know each other better and spending time with our members and families.  Thanks to all who were able to come out and attend.  

 

There are a bunch of people to thank for making this such a successful day and I am likely to screw up and miss someone if I try to mention names.  So I want to thank the guys who planned this thing, those who did the shopping for the 100 some people that attended, the cooks, the folks who coordinated the potluck and everyone who made or provided dishes for it, and the set up and clean up crews.  Everything went smooth and the place looked like nothing had ever happened when we left.  Thanks to everyone for being considerate to our hosts.  

 

I also want to thank Julia Holland, Community Manager and the Canta Mia community for allowing us to use this spot for our picnic for 2 years in a row now.  It is such a great spot and location and gives us plenty of room.

 

Thanks to everyone and to those who couldn’t make it, we missed you and look forward to seeing you next year and hopefully before that at our next events.
