Martin Museum Car Show - 05/07/2022

What an awesome day at the Martin museum car show in Phoenix. If you’ve never been to this museum you definitely want to check it out.
Having seen some of those cars really brought me back to my childhood. There were a lot of cars as well as some great music, the band New Destiny was awesome.  Nancy Perry put together another wonderful show and as always she recognized veterans in the process. Our Car Club received two awards, I am happy to report my car received one of them.
Jordan Rands recieved an award for his '65 Impala
Jim Leader's received an award for his '68 Cobra

Club picnic - 04/02/2022

What a great picnic-barbecue-potluck we had at Canta Mia. The food everybody brought was just amazing, and the barbecue really turned out well.
I don’t know if he could’ve asked for better weather. We had a great turnout, I would say 60 to 70 members must’ve shown up. Ken our president did a great job with the raffle and door prizes. Brent and his wife Joe were amazing in helping organize the structure of the event. Terry is just a rockstar!! He presented the new shirts to the club and was critical to the success of the picnic. Kerry and Diane were gracious enough to provide a nice selection of beer for the club as well as condiments for the hamburgers. Way too many people to thank, and the food everyone brought was delicious. This definitely should be on the calendar next year.
